On-the-Fly MBC Officer Election Results

(This is a quick and unedited snap shop update)

John Marshall, pastor of Second Baptist, Springfield, was elected president of the Missouri Baptist Convention with no opposition Oct. 26.

The next day, messengers elected Wesley Hammond, pastor of First Baptist, Paris as first vice president in a three-way race.

Jamie Hitt of First Baptist, Winfield was re-elected recording secretary with no opposition.

Micah Fries, pastor of Frederick Blvd, St. Joseph, was elected second vice president with 65 percent of the vote.
