President names Benton, Ingold parliamentarians for meeting
JEFFERSON CITY – Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) President Gerald Davidson has appointed attorney and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit Judge Duane Benton of Kansas City and attorney Bob Ingold of Springfield to assist him with parliamentary procedures.
As parliamentarians they will advise and give parliamentary guidelines, but the chair rules during all sessions. The position of parliamentarian is not an elected position. The parliamentarian is appointed annually by the president of the Convention.
