HLG holds annual prayer walk

Hannibal – Hannibal-LaGrange College (HLG) faculty, staff, administrators, and student leaders recently held a prayer walk on the HLG campus for the third year. Participants spent part of the afternoon praying for the upcoming school year.
Jo Ann Raney, director of alumni services at HLG, organized the walk this year.
“What a blessing it is to pray for one another, and then to see how God answers!” said Raney.
Over 60 faculty, staff, and students divided into several groups and walked the campus grounds of Hannibal-LaGrange College. Groups passed through facilities, classrooms and dormitories, stopping to pray for the people that would occupy each room.
“As a team captain for the prayer walk I was encouraged by the number of students involved with the Prayer Walk,” said Oran Woodworth, HLG business office accountant.
“I was impressed with the passion and sincerity of those who took part in this important newly founded tradition of HLG. I look forward to seeing the impact that this day will have on the rest of the semester and school year.”
