HLG earns national honor
Hannibal – Hannibal-LaGrange College (HLG) was named one of America’s Best Christian Colleges for the fifth consecutive year by the Institutional Research & Evaluation, Inc. HLG is one of only seven higher education institutions in Missouri named as one of America’s Best Christian Colleges. Over 1,400 colleges and universities nationwide were analyzed in consideration for this honor.
HLG was named one of America’s Best Christian Colleges on the basis of documented environment of Christian influence, grade point average of incoming freshmen, as well as the ACT/SAT scores of incoming freshmen. This is the fifth consecutive year that Hannibal-LaGrange College has received this honor and scored well above the national average.
Woodrow W. Burt, HLG president, was happy to hear about the inclusion of Hannibal-LaGrange in the 11th annual report of the national college survey. “Even though we have always known that we are one of the best Christian colleges in the nation, it is good to receive accolades from such a prestigious research organization as Institutional Research & Evaluation, Inc.,” said Burt.
