Visit booths to learn more
JEFFERSON CITY—Messengers attending the 173rd annual meeting of the Missouri Baptist Convention Oct. 29-31 at Tan-Tar-A in Osage Beach, are being asked to stop by two exhibits to learn about the launch of a petition drive effort aimed at prohibiting human cloning in Missouri.
Enter the main entrance to Windgate Hall and turn right to head toward the booths of both the Christian Life Commission and Missourians Against Human Cloning. Information on an Oct. 19 legal challenge to language in the ballot summary will be available. The importance of people signing up to be a petition circulators will be emphasized, with leaders in the pro-life coalition effort focusing on training for the petition drive to come.
