Nominating Committee members nominated

JEFFERSON CITY – Missouri Baptist Convention President Mike Green, in consultation with the other officers, has nominated eight new members for three-year terms on the Nominating Committee, terms to expire 2010. Vacancies, terms expiring 2008, have also been filled.

Rodney Albert, pastor, Hallsville Baptist Church, has been nominated to serve as chairman for 2008. (Note: M is for minister; L is for laity.)

Term Expiring 2008:

Rodney Albert (M), Hallsville (Central) filling the unexpired term of Charles Wolfe

Bill Jetton (M), Ozark, Houston (South Central) filling the unexpired term of Michael Dillin

New Members term expiring 2010:

Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary

Caylee Dugger, a youth director at First Baptist Church North Kansas City and M.Div. student at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, was killed in a highway accident Thursday afternoon, Feb. 2.
