Sawyer appoints Tellers

JEFFERSON CITY – Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) President Ralph Sawyer will present his appointments to the 2006 Tellers Committee during the Monday evening (Oct. 30) session of the MBC’s annual meeting.

The Tellers Committee assists the presiding officer with vote-taking, collecting ballots, tabulating results and announcing the results to the presiding officer.

Committee members include: GaryBelcher, Lynwood Baptist Church, Cape Girardeau, chairman; Rex Barker, Dale Beaird, Bill Bradshaw, Howard Brown, DeWayne Bryant, Vance Combs, Melvin Gateley, Doug Golden, Ken Gullett, James Hastings, Charles, Haubold, Ken House, David Porter, Bill Reynolds, Sam Smith, Bill Stallins, Dave Unger, Charlie Wagoner, Kenneth Whitlock and Carroll Williams, all from the Cape Giradeau area. Alternates are Frank Rayburn, Terry Rollins and Gary Watson.
