MBC, Midwestern to host disaster relief training

KANSAS CITY – The Missouri Baptist Convention and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary are offering disaster relief training classes Feb. 17-18 on the Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary campus here.

Participants who complete this training will be certified to serve as volunteers with disaster relief teams. Training includes using chain saws and food preparation. Cost will be $10.

The specific schedule is as follows: Feb. 17, 6:30-9 p.m. – General Overview of disaster training. Feb. 18,8 a.m.-2 p.m. – Two tracks: Food service or chain saw crew training.
