MBCH helps protect unborn

By Staff

January 10, 2006

BRIDGETON– Missouri Baptists have always understood the sanctity of human life. That is one reason that a group of ladies from five St. Louis Baptist churches came together to found Missouri Baptist Children’s Home (MBCH) in 1886.

Since that day nearly 120 years ago, MBCH has cared for children who have been neglected, abused and unwanted.

But MBCH goes well beyond caring for children who are already in this world. The Children’s Home has a long history of working with young ladies experiencing “crisis pregnancies” and providing them with the resources necessary to exercise the only real option in that pregnancy – life.

MBCH Children and Family Ministries (CFM) protects the life of the unborn by providing an extensive array of pregnancy counseling and supportive services.

For more information about the “Unborn Protection Services” of MBCH Children and Family Ministries call 1-800-264-6224 or visit the MBCH Web site at www.mbch.org. A link on the MBCH home page can be used to obtain resources promoting “Sanctity of Human Life Sunday,” Jan. 15.
