MBC partners with Purpose Driven Ministries to offer discount on ‘40 Days’ campaigns

JEFFERSON CITY – A large discount is available to churches using the “40 Days of Purpose” or “40 Days of Community” campaigns this fall, according to Bob Caldwell, Missouri Baptist Convention’s (MBC) director of evangelism.

“The MBC evangelism department has a partnership with Purpose Driven Ministries,” Caldwell said. “This partnership enables any MBC church to participate in a ‘40 Days’ campaign with an $800 discount.”

The normal cost for a ‘40 Days’ campaign is $1,300.

The discounted price, Caldwell said, is available only to churches that start a ‘40 Days’ campaign during October. He said churches that started a ‘40 Days’ campaign in October  before learning about the discount will be able to request a reimbursement.

To request a reimbursement, a church should contact Purpose Driven Ministries at 40days@purposedriven.com or call 800-633-8876.

If any confusion develops concerning the reimbursement, churches should call the evangelism department at 800-736-6227.

Caldwell said churches planning a ‘40 Days’ campaign for the winter or spring term in 2005 also will be eligible for the discount. Registration forms for a 2005 campaign are available from Luanne Yarnell in the MBC evangelism department (lyarnell@mobaptist.org) or by downloading the form from the MBC Web site (www.mobaptist.org).
