MBC to host prayer service for new General Assembly

JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Baptist Convention’s Christian Life Commission, The Pathway and Concord Baptist Church will host a prayer service for members of the new General Assembly, Jan. 5 at 8 a.m. The service, to be held in the main sanctuary of Concord Baptist Church, will feature music, a brief message to the legislators, recognition of – and presentations to – the leaders of the General Assembly and special prayers for the entire body. The service will precede swearing-in ceremonies for the new General Assembly members. The public is invited.
