Hotels available for MBC’s annual meeting

Reservations need to be made soon

JEFFERSON CITY — The 170th annual meeting of the Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) will be at First Baptist Church, Raytown, 10500 E. 350 Highway Kansas City, Oct. 25-27.

The headquarters hotel is the Clarion Hotel formerly named the Adams Mark, located at the I-70 and the Blue Ridge Cutoff exit. The MBC has a block of 275 rooms for MBC boards, committees, VIP’s and Executive Board staff. Reservations for the block of rooms must be made through Linda Stockton, ministry assistant for Partnership Missions. There are additional rooms available at The Clarion for those messengers who wish to make reservations at the convention rate per room.

An additional 228 rooms are being held by area hotels for messengers and visitors who wish to make individual reservations by calling one of the hotels. A full listing of the hotels will be available on the MBC website and in The Pathway. Information will include the location and cost of the rooms. Reservations must be made for The Clarion by Sept. 26, or between Sept. 24 and Oct. 4 for all other hotels.

Arrowhead Ave., Independence (816-795-6466); Super 8, 1501 NW Northridge Dr., Blue Springs (816-224-2899).
