MMO gifts climbing

MBC nearing its 2003 goal
The 2003 Missouri Missions Offering (MMO) is at $675,000 through Dec. 12, putting the Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) in position to meet its goal of $750,000, according to MBC Associate Director David Waganer.
Giving is now at $675,692.41. Last year’s giving at the same time was $595,394.22.
“I think we have the potential of surpassing our goal," Waganer said. “I’d like to say thank you to the Missouri Baptist people for giving to Missouri Missions Offering."
Waganer added that he would like to encourage treasurers to send in their checks to the MBC Controller’s Office before Dec. 31.
MMO funds make ministry possible in such areas as church planting, evangelism, missions, care ministries and disaster relief.
