President appoints Tellers, Credentials Committees

JEFFERSON CITY– Missouri Baptist Convention president Mitchell Jackson will present his appointments to the 2005 Tellers and Credentials committees during the Monday evening session of the Missouri Baptist Convention.  These committees will serve during this year’s annual meeting.

Tellers Committee: The Tellers committee assists the presiding officer with vote-taking, collecting ballots, tabulating results and announcing the results to the presiding officer.

Boone Middleton, Golden Avenue Baptist Church, Springfield, chairman; Bruce Wilson, Glidewell Baptist Church, Springfield, vice chairman; Russell Randolph, Calvary, Lebanon; Bob Maples, Broadway, Springfield; Darrell Crawford, Community, Fair Grove; David Cotter, Springhill, Springfield; Bill Newton, First, Mansfield; Phil St. Laurent, Chadwick; Charles Pratt, First Mansfield; John Justice, Grant Avenue, Springfield; John Brayfield, Temple, Springfield; Harold Fox, Temple, Springfield; Mitch Wright, First, Seymour; Derwin Kicker, First Marshfifeld; Lloyd Heavin, First Billings; Terry Kendrick, Hopedale, Ozark; Randy Johnson, First, Kimberling City; and Anna May Barclay, Golden Avenue, Springfield.

Credentials Committee:The Credentials Committee shall review and rule upon all questions that may arise in enrollment concerning the credentials of messengers.  Also, any contention arising on the floor concerning seating of messengers shall be referred to the committee for consideration and the committee shall report back to the Convention.
