MBCH eyes partnership in Ukraine
BRIDGETON – Trustees for the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home heard various reports during their Jan. 24 meeting, including one that may eventually result in a partnership with a similar organization in Ukraine. Anti-Planned Parenthood rallies call for defunding
COLUMBIA, Mo. (BP) -- Pro-life demonstrators held rallies Feb. 11 at more than 220 Planned Parenthood clinics in 45 states to advocate withdrawing government funds from America's largest abortion provider. Joplin schools reopen Bible study groups
JOPLIN – Bible study groups that were shut down by the Joplin School District here in early January have now resumed, according to the Joplin Globe. The school district suspended the Bible study groups, Jan. 6, after officials received a complaint from the Washington, D.C.-based American Humanist Association (AHA) last December. Midwestern Seminary launches innovative residential M.Div. Program, Timothy Track
Midwestern Seminary launched a new Master of Divinity track on Feb. 13 with the intent of enabling residential students not only to study for ministry in the classroom, but also to obtain hands-on, in-the-field training as well. Joplin school district suspends student Bible study group
JOPLIN – A Bible study group meeting in the North Middle School here was shut down Jan. 6 after officials at the Joplin School District received a complaint from the Washington, D.C.-based American Humanist Association (AHA) last December.
