MBC sued by SBU’s opponents
BOLIVAR – The Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) was named as a defendant along with Southwest Baptist University (SBU) in a lawsuit that was filed on Aug. 25 in Polk County, Mo., Circuit Court, in a pending case involving court approval of SBU’s amended articles of incorporation. MBF sees $58 million growth in assets

LES CAYES, Haiti – Missouri Baptists are responding after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake killed more than 2,000 people in Haiti, Aug. 14, leaving roughly 30,000 families homeless.
