CAMDENTON – The Windermere Baptist Conference Center (WBCC) may have a new lease on life after being bought off the steps of the Camden County Courthouse, Dec. 11, following the campground’s “non-judicial foreclosure.” Straightway Holdings, Inc. MBF trustees receive clean audit report, allocate grants, accept 17 new accounts
JEFFERSON CITY – Trustees of the Missouri Baptist Foundation met on Friday, December 13th for their tri-annual meeting. Business included receiving the audit report, allocation of discretionary grants totaling $140,000, welcoming two new trustees Marita LaChapell and Misty Flaugher, and acceptance of 17 new accounts for the quarter with a sum of $3 million. Harrison chosen as transitional president for The Baptist Home
IRONTON – The Baptist Home Board of Trustees has announced that Dr. Rodney Harrison has agreed to serve as The Baptist Home’s Transitional President until such time as a permanent selection can be made. HANNIBAL – Two Lady Trojan team members gave ‘Soccer Mom’ a new connotation this season, which finished in early November. The traditional understanding of the ‘soccer mom’ term is a mother who takes her children to play in soccer games. BOLIVAR – Southwest Baptist University mourns the passing of 2015 graduate Stephen Carr, who died Saturday, Dec. 7, in the line of duty as a police officer in Fayetteville, Ark. “The SBU family is united in prayer for Stephen’s family during this difficult time,” said SBU President Dr. Eric A.
